Totally gobsmacked

Some people the more you help them the more they take. Then they throw things in your face when you don't say what they want to hear. You've done nothing wrong other than stand up for the interests of her horse, it's a shame she's chosen to be like this. But leave her to it, concentrate your time and energy on your own horses and leave her to be sour faced if that's how she chooses to spend her life.

If it was me, I'd tell her that I've helped her once and had it thrown back in my face, so will not help her any longer come what may and let the other liveries know it as well. It's up to the horseowner to look after their own animal or pay the YO to do it for them. It's a livery place where you pay to keep your horse for your own pleasure, not be a nurse for someonelse horses.

Think I have calmed down again, went to my mums who talked some sense in to it all. As she said, there will come a time when this woman wants my help, and that is the time I turn around a say no, get your help from someone else, I have no opinion on your horse and no help to offer.
Chances of ever needing help from her is slim to nill.
All other liveries are going to be politely told the same, that if they need an opinion then they seek a vet, and I will tell them why.

Good old mum's they always talk sense - you just can't help some people - she didn't even take the vets advice Re: box rest , at least he gets paid even if she chose to ignore his instruction so i guess you stood no chance!! Keep up the party atmosphere at the yard and enjoy yourself. :):)

I would just forget about it, you've done nothing wrong, the others know you haven't so theres no need to worry about it. if she chooses to blank you then thats her problem.

This exactly. I think that by confronting her you will just make the situation a whole lot worse and then there's bound to be an atmosphere which could make things very unpleasant for everyone.

Being angry isn't upsetting her, it's upsetting you, so I'd try to just let it go.

You will get your chance when she asks for help in the future when you can smile sweetly and say that you don't offer opinions on other people's horses any more ;)
