Got horses in in the dark yesterday, finished stables then decided to pop into supermarket on the way home. Was quite taken aback how friendly everyone was and smiling at me, so I just smiled back and carried on thinking what a happy little town I live in. Paid for the shopping, walked to the car and slowly it dawned on me. I had just walked around a town supermarket with a minors lamp attached to my baseball cap!!! Ground open up and swallow me now.....

Whoops. Was it still switched on? Next time you're in, head up, smile sweetly and don't mention it. It COULD have been worse, you could have had a bra hooked to your sweater or a loo paper tail!
 
Cant be as bad as hay teeth - I always fill nets with my mouth open and if the hay is dusty, the dust sticks to my teeth. Try smiling sweetly at your local, quite handsome saddler with black teeth....I did!
 
Thankyou Murphs Mum, have just had the best laugh, sorry it was at your expense but i know where you're coming from, our local tescos looks at me in horror if i go in there straight from seeing the horses.

My brother did something similar but he was wearing his daughter's barbie tiara that she had put on him and he had forgot about - pink and fluffy silver.

I once went around all day with my jumper on inside out with the fancy design on the front showing all the threads ! My 'lovely' friend left me like that as she said it was good luck - I was treated as very 'special' by everyone who met me that day!
 
my poor friend somehow manage to get an upturned panty liner stuck to the underneath of her shoe ( it was clean thank god) We had been walking round town for sometime and I kept hearing this shhhhhhsck shhhhhhhhhhsck noise but didnt take much notice, after sometime it started to bother me so I took more notice, followed the sound and there is was!!!!!! lol lol
It was soooo funny but I didnt laugh cos she was besides herself with shame and didnt know what to do poor girl. We giggle about it now tho
