Tow bar height

Have just got a Disco 3 and replaced tow hitch with a new Witter tow hitch as safer. We are towing a Ifor Williams trailer. Just wondering what others with this combination find is the best height to have hitch at. Was obviously too low at lowest height but still not sure at second height, trailer still seems a bit "nose end low"
Could go up to highest level but may then be too high?
Any input from other users appreciated.

Centre of the ball should be 14ins from the ground( this is standard set up for most trailers) on the level and with the discovery at normal ride height. I assume it has not been put into low ride height as it ought to be correct on the middle hole It will be better down at front than at the back for a very good reason with ifor trailers. If you want to doulble check put the trailer on level road and unhitch and then retract the jockey wheel to obtain its natural ride height which should be level and the set the ball at that height, however that should be close to 14ins if not suspect a suspension issue on the trailer..Dont see how a witter towbar would be safer than the original hitch. Another issue you may have is the reversing sensors going off with the ball on a witter, this can be easily fixed PM if you need advice .
