Towbar on Range Rover..... price???

As title really..... Hubby changed the disco for a range rover and it has no towbar.... have gone 6 months and think that if I dont get one fitted soon then i may as well sell the trailer that I have sitting at the yard.

Anyone know how much I am looking to spend..... have asked for one for christmas but think its over the spend limit I set..... stooooopid me!!

Now hubby is saying more like 400 - 500 squid!!! do you think he is trying to put me off..... he says it something to do with having the computer reprogrammed???

I know the disco one cost about £300 so thought he was right

well my friend did my sisters but he kind of did it as a favor like i said depends where you go as my landlord payed over 460 for his !!! joke isnt it for a towbar!!!!!!!!!!

my mum got a quote for her rav4 and was £500 if thats any help

depends on where you live but shouldnt be more than £300. Look for a towbar centre or a caravan/trailer dealer they usually have a fitter on site or who could come to you. If you are near me I will Pm the guy who has done all our towbars.

I think we paid about £300 ish and that was Land Rover fitting it too.

Oooo! Yes went into my local dealer last week, and they had a special offer on its worth going to see, and have a haggle, its good fun!

My Parents was going to buy Citroen Picasso, they quoted £560 for flipping tow bar! excluding VAT! So they ditched the idea and is buying same car with tow bar included also cheaper in Austria...

Had a towbar put on my pajero only cost bout £150.00. Had it done by a mobile towbar fitter who came to the yard and did it.
