just got back from the unaffiliated open . ash did the 85cm which she got 8 faults in, she had the first part of the treble down but neither she or the horse has jumped a treble before so to be expected in a way.then ots ran out at a scary orange and white fence,the poles were ok it was the wings that were scary lol. then she did the 95cm (again a first for both of them) and the scary orange fence now had scary orange fillers the same as the wings in front of it.ash was ready for him this time and got him over it and went clear. only 3 horses out of about 20 i think went clear,she was first in the JO which was 1.05cm and he knocked the first one down and ran out at the orange one again! how he got over the treble i dont know as the impulson was lost at the first and he sort of fell over the next two parts but credit to him (and her ) for getting over it and leaving it standing!! the other 2 competitors got 4 faults each so she came third. very pleased with the result but even more pleasing is that the speed demon actually went very steady!
