I need to tow my hay barn (on skids) tomorrow to another area of the yard and it will require me to tow downhill and then back uphill. I can use my 2WD tractor or a Land Rover to do the job. I am a bit nervous though of going down hill - am wondering whether it will overtake me on the way down! Its not steep but is still a hill. Have only really moved the barn to date on the flat.
Anyone got any experience of this? Kinda wondering whether people do this all the time and I am being a wimp! If you do what should I be thinking about? Or make sure that I do?
