My dad has just phazed me out totally, and God knows I am already in a tangle of nerves.

Do you have to tell your insurance company if you tow? The trailer and car are legal in that the MAMs are all good and I got my licence before 1997 so legal in that sense. I have separate breakdown insurance for the trailer, but should I have told my car insurance company? I am panicking now....

No you shouldn't need to - but make sure the policy still covers you while you are towing. I would have thought they all do anyway. The liability part should extend to any trailer attached (providing it's a legal combination etc) and interestingly mine actually covers it fully comp while attached to the vehicle.

Thanks Suzysparkle! I really appreciate that.
Trust my dad, he always knows just what to say to make you feel better lol
