should i ask my friends to sign a disclaimer notice if i take their horses in my trailer? It's brand new...and their horses have been known to kick out....am a bit wary of having my new trailer trashed!

I only take mine and my sisters now......trailers are too expensive to risk it, and you work hard to keep what you have in tip-top condition.

Don't feel bad about saying no, there is no law saying 'You must takes friends!' when you buy one.....!

I think if they are prepared to agree in writing beforehand that they will pay for any damage their horses might do to your brand new trailer then if you feel happy, go ahead.

Otherwise say no. I think they'd understand - if the boot was on the other foot and all that. Just bear in mind though that even fair wear and tear is pretty annoying if not done by your own horse. Poo stains, scuff marks etc etc. It might just be easier to say no...

i dont have transport but I agree with marydoll. If it's a known kicker then I wouldn't transport it unless an emergency and TBH, if my horse was a kicker I wouldn't expect to be driven to shows by others.
