Does anyone tow with one of these and an ifor? I know they are down as 1600kg for the max towing weight which I am just within by about 100kg but am unclear whether that is the 85% rule or no or what they are like generally?

Are you towing a caravan? - the 85% ADVICE not rule is for caravans only

If anyone tells you different then ask them to point out where that is

nope, just a trailer with one horse in at about 500kg, taken it for a trial and seems to do the job but always a bit wary!

I used mine for towing it was great - rice trailer and 1 horse maximum. I overloaded the weight with furniture when I moved house and it was a very scary experience

I'm currently towing with one until we can upgrade to a more substantial 4x4. My trailer is an Ifor 510, it's not ideal and is guzzles fuel something terrible but with just one small horse it'll do for now.

Think you'd be better with the Santa Fe really. I imagine you'd be at the Tucson's towing limit with a loaded trailer. I don't feel it's a capable enough towing vehicle really.
