Evening,

Can't sleep so pondering new car.
Does anyone row with a Mitsubishi Outlander?

I'm being lazy and have done no research at all as yet! 👍🏻

I have just the B and drive an Outlander, always assumed license aside it wouldn't have enough umph to tow

I recently purchased an outlander as a useful day to day vehicle and occasional tow vehicle for 1 horse. I deliberated over a few in the 2T tow capacity class and eventually settled on this for a number of reasons - mostly as I know 3 people who use this vehicle for towing with no issue plus a friend lent me their set up so I could trial towing before purchase. For me also the Mitsibushi brand for working vehicles is strong.

I've towed previously with bigger vehicles (Discovery/Shogun/Hilux) and in comparison I would say you can feel that the Outlander takes a bit more strain BUT it feels safe and stable and realistically any vehicle in this class isn't going to be a Disco/Shogun equivalent.

Good option as an every day vehicle with ability for lower annual mileage towing. I think you would wreck the engine trying to tow 2 up or for frequent long distances

I had the Citroen c crosser which is pretty much the same as the outlander. . I used it for towing one horse and as someone else suggested, it lacked oomph. I sold mine within a year and bought a Kia Sorento which is excellent tow vehicle. I would try go for something with higher tow capacity
