Towing vehicle

Jeep's are thirsty. We have a grand cherokee and couldn't afford to tow with it. But I have a 17 year old range rover that tows very well, only we got rid of our trailer as the floor had rotted and as I no longer go anywhere not bothered, but the Cherokee you can get more feedstuffs in theback as in the other car, I have my 4 dogs so cann't take out dogguard, as 2 in the front and th2 big ones in the back.

The Jeep cherokee (rather than the Grand) isn't too bad on fuel. We have a 2.7crd which does around 32mpg normally and drops to around 26-28mpg when towing a big Richardson trailer. It is a good workhouse and we are on our 2nd one.

I tow an ifor williams 510 with my jeep Cherokee. It's a 2.8 diesel automatic and tows really well. I think I get around 23 to 24 mpg when towing and around 28 to 32 for my normal short trips without the trailer. The other good thing about this model is it can tow 3500kg
