I do. I have had 2 16.2 in my Richardson - no problem. Manouvering the box is also great and easy to do. Probably one of the best vehicles to tow with think
Great! Have other vehicles and always go back to the landy, its easy to reverse with (not too long and I have a station wagon so visibility is good), going forward its not much different with or without the trailer - 200/300tdi or td5, find the turbo and naturally aspirated a little lethagic though. 3.5 tonnes capacity - max for a car.
Would highly recommend, however not so good for tack storage, although now have a lorry so use that instead (too many neddies!). Rear door opens on jockey wheel if not careful, if you use rear seats, tack can get muddled with passengers.
If you want to know what to look for when buying one let me know
I tow with a defender. TDi5.No problems providing you know how to use them. That is quite crucial tbh. I had no idea what mine could do until I did a Landrover discovery day thingy. Well worth it and such fun!
They are fantastic vehicles for towing and off roading. BUT you have to know how to exploit them!
Agree with Iconique re tack storage. It is ok for one horse but a pain for two. Agree about the door too! It is a pain!
