Towing with a mazda cx5

I FINALLY am in the financial space where I can buy a jeep and box this year.

OH is being pretty sticky on jeeps it must be suited for family driving and not just a designated "junk" jeep. We have both agreed thr CX5 looks like it will suit.

I towed a Rice trailer with one 14.2 using a cx5 and preferred it to the v70 which was the other option

Towing capacity will depend on the engine size. I wouldn't want to be towing two horses with a car that weighs around 1745 kg but it should be ok with a lightweight trailer and one horse.

I have a CX-5 and love it but I wouldn't want to tow with it, it's a bit light and it doesn't feel 'grounded', if that makes any sense? I was surprised to discover that, with the back seat down I can get 7 bales of bedding in the back though. So that's a plus ?
