Just a heads-up.

I'm in the SW, East Devon to be specific, and over the last few days it has come to notice that two dogs have died, and one is seriously poorly, after swimming in a local river.

My vets have just sent a FB circular out, as have other vets in the area.

"Blue green algae bloom" is the problem. Toxic to dogs, and humans :(

Please be careful with your dogs! The vets are saying NO SWIMMING. Period.

How horrible. I don't take our dogs to the lake in this weather, although I assume you can see it if it is there.
Another question - we sell smoothies (Naked I think?) and an ingredient is blue green algae...just why!? And it is in big letters on the front so must be a positive.
