Well moved my Mare to Full Livery yesterday - Yay!
She is only 4 so weighed up alot of things before making the decision.
She will be turned out from 9.30 until 4.30/5 but I was wondering if there was anything I could get for her stable for the evening time that will keep her amused??

You can pop thing like carrots/swede buried in her haynet for her to have a go at ... a football is always good fun! and of course there are those treat ball things that folks put nibbles in ... You could also consider a stable mirror ...

Am sure some folks will have better suggestions than me - and may not even agree with my suggestions! :D

Id be interested to hear as well of any ideas. My boy has to come in every night during winter in our new place and he trashes his stable if he doesnt have anything to do. I have just bought him a stable ball to hang up (got at a good price too) and was going to get him a tongue twister to put on his wall. His only problem is that he tends to bash his head on anything in the way at the moment (hes only just coming up to 4) and so I dont want hanging likit toys as he will end up knocking himself out!!!

My 5 year old has one of these:

I just put some of his ration of high fibre nuts in so it's not a treat in that sense of the word but keeps him occupied for a while. A warning though - it is really noisy when he starts bashing it around so I always make sure it's out of his stable at late night checks to avoid an early wake up call.:p

Yes the bashing around noise is a worry of mine as his stable is right in front of YO's Bedroom window  May try the swede idea!
