I am trying to just find out if a pony I used to ride/loan is safe
smile.gif

Name is Bobby, he'll be late teens by now, [a touch under] 12.2hh bay gelding, native type. He was very nervous of dogs, men and hosepipes and a nightmare to catch. Could get strong jumping but a total sweetheart. I loaned him about 6 years ago now and would just love to know how he is, figured it's worth a try anyway.
Believe he was sold from Nuneaton, Warwickshire in 2004-ish to a family to do PC with. Unfortunately he was too much for the little girl and I believe got sold on. I don't have the details for the lady he was sold to either time but on the off-chance anyone recognises him and knows how he is now, good or bad news welcome (tho good news preferred obviously!) please feel free to pm me.

Sounds about right- he would out gallop a 14 hander- then stop when he got to the front- he just didn't want to get left behind, bless his little legs!
I'm not sure, he doesn't look like he has the same face markings, but I'm going to pm monty&zoom to see if I can get any more info on her friends pony, just incase. Thanks guys

Both ponies look to have white socks on their hind legs, but it's difficult to tell on the otehr pony as he has boots on. But yes, I'm fairly convinced it's not the same pony too. Ah well, was worth a shot.
