Would be lovely to hear how she is if she is still with us etc, she was sold around 2001/2 as i moved abroad she was a 16.2/3hh chesnut tb mare, she had very good bloodlines, could be a bugger in the stable and hated being tied up, she never had good feet and keeping shoes on her was difficuilt but she rode like a dream, would jump five bar gates for fun and was very calm in any situation, would love to hear of anything...good or bad ?? she was sold from county durham

Hi, I have just seen this post. I used to own a Chestnut TB mare called Farah, I bought her from Gateshead area and she had previously Point to Pointed.
What was her registered name? Just to check we are talking about the same horse.

Hi I cant remember her registered name to be honest and yes she did point to point...my dad sold her when i moved abroad and have no idea where she went, she came to me from middleston st george around 98/99 ?

Think it is probably the same mare, with me she held her shoes, loved to jump, bombproof in traffic as well. Unfortunately she had to be pts with me. She became really ill ( had a heart murmur) and suffered a stroke/heart attack. Was the kindest thing to do as she dropped so much weight (was a poor doer when I got her) and her spark went. Totally broke my heart, and still think about her. Her registered name was Frightening Child.
