My pony was imported from Ireland in 2004 by my old YO and I bought him off her in 2005. I do not know any of his history except that he hunted in Ireland... I would love to trace his history (He is only 8 so I have the chance of finding his breeders as he hasn't had many owners)
His name was changed by old YO but he has very distinctive markings which would be recognised. I have been told that a lot of horses which are being imported are sold at Goresbridge Horse Sales ... I have tried looking on there but it is impossible to tell whether it could have been him without reading 1000s of old adverts!
I am going to see old YO tonight and will ask her if she has any papers/where exactly she got him from as he did not have a passport/papers when I bought him.
Any more ideas on where I could get info?
