Does anyone know how i can trace my horse , he doesnt have a passport, but is microchipped which starts 958 ???????????????????????

Umm, why hasn't your horse got a passport? If you bought him without one, you should have applied for one within a set length of time. With regard to the microchip, try Pet-ID, sorry can't remember their contact details, but I'm sure you can Google it.

Could he be a TB? How many numbers are there after the 958? I've checked ten of my TB passports (they weren't all the same age) and all the microchips start with 985 followed by 12 other numbers, perhaps the UK ones begin with 958? If he is a TB Weatherbys would be next place to try for information. Of course maybe all microchips have the same number of digits.

What breed is he? I traced mine through the Friesian horse association of great britain and ireland - try finding the breed association/society on the internet and contact them, they might be able to access a database.
