He guys,
Firstly thanks for reading! I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of either of my ponies I had as a kid. I have now lost the contact details for both of the owners i sold them to
I would be desperate to hear any news - good or bad. Where can I advertise for and info? Has anyone ever had any success at tracing horses???
Chocolate (also known sometimes as Chocolate Champion) was just under 14hh and a bay. I sold him to a lovely woman in Norfolk who was a beautitian and was about to get married I think. I seem to remember her name was Nicky Smith. He was a very sweet pony - the nicest I've ever known- and a complete pet, although he really didn't enjoy jumping! He had a white blaze and some white socks I think - i'll check the pictures I have of him for details. I can't upload any because I had them in the days before I had digital cameras! I sold him probably 6 years ago and he'd be about 22 (ish) now. Goodness, time really has got away from me!
Joe (AKA My Boy Joe) was a 14.2hh Chestnut gelding 3/4 Welsh D 1/4 Arab. He too had a white blaze and a few white socks but he has 3 chestnut spots that went through his blaze. He would be 25 ish now. When I had him we did PC eventing and he loved to jump - especially XC! He was such a fun pony and literally gave me the best times of my childhood! He too was easy to handle, but had an unusual gate (sometimes didnt look quite sound but it was just a stiffness that wore off) and was quite upright in the front legs. I think I sold him to a woman in Cambridgeshire called Liz - maybe Liz Wilson??
I would love to know of any information on either of them - good or bad. Or any way in which anyone thinks I could trace them. Any adverts anywhere worth it?
Thanks for reading - If you got to the bottom of it hot chocolate and a biscuit for you!!!
