tracing my horse's history

I'm looking to trace my horse's history, and was wondering if any of you could help ?

She a 15hh welsh mare belived to be 7/8 now she is called Tammy (previously known as Dolly) and she's passported as black. We brought her from Chingford (essex) in 2007 when she was about 4/5

Do you have an address of the breeder or previous owner in the passport or vaccination records? If so you could write to them.

When we wanted to trace our horse we Googled her name putting horse/pony - it took a while to go through all the irrelevant sites but eventually found some information on her. If you have a passport and microchip or freezemark you can check with those

yes there is but he no longer lives at that location. I sent them an email a few months ago but havent heard back

I'm afraid not. Her passport name is Tammy and was changed from Dolly. Here passport is issued be equine passport agency in 2006 and the first recored owner was Charlie Hicklin of bradford although now belived to live in walthham abbey, Essex. I searched him on google and he has welsh sec d's for sale which is what my mare is.

I know he sold her to someone called Carley Galigan becuase thats the person we brought her off. but she doesnt know any about tammy
