Any ideas where to start trying to find the where abouts of one of our old horses?
We sold Ossy (later renamed Ozzy) in 2009, he was a black welsh cob gelding standing about 14.2, he would now be 6 i think? His full name is Pentrewaun Tywysog. I know he has passed through several homes since we owned him, we sold him on after he attacked my Arab gelding & fractured his pelvis, my old boy had just been returned from loan & there was no way i was risking him in with the cob, so he had to go. He was very very food aggressive, which is why he attacked my Arab, he also was very bargy if he thought he could get away with it & thought nothing of tanking off with you, he would also try & intimidate you in the field & could be quite threatening. He was sold to girl near Newport, Cardiff, who then sold him onto a lovely lady in Oxfordshire, again he was sold on to someone else in Somerset (i think?), but i know he bolted badly with the owner & he was sold on again...i lost touch after that. Id really like to know what happened to him as he really was the sort of horse that could end up in the wrong hands. Google doesnt give you anything apart from a post i made about him on another site & my daughters Bebo account.

Put this post in the Stolen section on here as there are lots of Trace posts too & they don't disappear as quickly. However, more viewers in here. Good luck finding him.

I owned him last year...sadly he was pts after a serious field injury...i have already passed details on to op..
it was a very hard time and a sad time for us all..but ozzy had a wonderful time with us and had become a very lovely pony and easy to do, after arriving as a little thug!! All his bad manners and aggression were born out of fear and miss understanding as to what was wanted of him and firm but fair handling changed him beyond belief..but never in our time was he hit...just handle in the correct way.
He was totally safe and bombproof and my young daughter had great time riding him and he had an awesome jump on him and came home with ribbons...
I did'nt know his pass when we brought him but information i have now explains a lot about him...but his time was us was nothing but happy.... rip ozzy

So nice to know he ended up in a happy home, amazing what bad handling at a young age can do to a horse, im glad you gave him a chance & thanks again for letting me know x
RIP Ozzy.
