Tracing Relatives...Anyone?

I'm in desperate need of help and was hoping someone on here might be able to help! I've yet to go through a hell of a lot of paperwork I have (and possibly even dig out some more from the relms of time along the way)...but just as a stab in the dark really.

Does anyone have any experience of tracing relatives at all? Any help is much appreciated!

Horse or human?

If its human it may be better in Soapbox- but have you tried a site like www.genesreunited.co.uk or www.findmypast.com ?

If horsey try typing sire/ dam into google.
