I have an Irish TB mare that is out of Religiously (USA) out of Alleged. Her dam is Copper Dash (out of Copper Gamble). I'm not very good at tracing further back, but I think Hyperion (?) appears a few times... Is there a way of getting her whole tree?! And is this rubbish breeding (not that I could afford to breed from her!)... Thanks!

Wow thank you! Doesnt take long when you know how?! Guess that is war admiral that raced against seabiscuit? How interesting!

Brill thank you! Funny I once rode a horse (No Saint) at that yard when I worked in Ire for a bit- I'm guessing by the name he was probably related too... Couldnt walk for three days afterwards, so that makes sense :-) I know someone told me she is related to Mac's Joy and that if I had a spare £10k I should out her to Old Vic, haha!! Anyway its nice to see her history so thank you. She is quite a pretty girl so may breed from her one day... she is darned unsound at the mo so thats not a good start!

Thanks for that - I was just being nosey really & have enough info from above... Would love to breed one day from her (she is soooo easy to handle!) but no dosh due to nice vets bills at the mo... Thanks again!

Sorry made that about as clear as mud didn’t I just rushing out the door. The above is the TB only database and is separate from the all breeds at the top of the page on the TB site I don’t get some idoit changing my TB mare’s pedigree to a Hanoverian on a regular basis!!! It gives much more performance and progeny details than the all breeds site mentioned at the top of this thread. I think it is populated from Weatherbys and US Jockey club records.

Anyway Religiously is and unraced son of Alleged who stood./stands in Ireland. His best offspring to date is Saintly Rachel who from 47 starts won £55,000. He s probably a nice individual since he has been used quite a lot without a race record though I think he was probably a Jump sire (had supreme leader and Deep Run mares to him)

The inbreeding in the pedigree is mild mainly on War Admiral adversary of Seabiscuit 12.5% Man O War 7.03% and Hyperion 3% so a very American pedigree.

Alleged was purchased by the late Robert Sangster, from Monty Roberts a Kentucky Bred he had 10 starts an won the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (FR-G1,2400m)X2, Gallinule Stakes (IRE-G2) 10f, Great Voltigeur Stakes (ENG-G2) 12f, Royal Whip Stakes (IRE-G3,12f)X2, Prix du Prince d'Orange (FR-G3,2000m); 2nd St. Leger S. (GB-G1) 14f127y
Religiously’s dam Pas De Nom was also Kentucky Bred and had 42 Starts winning $121,741 and on those track you can safely say she was a sound individual. She won Virginia Belle Stakes, Jasmine Stakes, Seashore Stakes, Inferno Stakes.
2nd Barbara Fritchie Handicap (G3), Miss Woodford Stakes, Yo Tambien Handicap. 3rd Mimosa Stakes, Boniface Stakes, Pan Zareta Handicap.

The Thoroughbred Breeders Association might be able to assist in tracking the horse down for you.

Hope this helps
