Trade Accounts

Hi,

I was wondering if there is anyone out there that can help me?

Im setting up a small business selling equine products online via my website, ebay and also via a mail order catalogue. Im only trying to earn a bit of pocket money to help keep the horses.

I am struggling to get a trade account with any suppliers as I dont have a premises. I was just wondering who other people use.

Any help would be greatful.

I would look at Ackland Clarke possibly Westgate EFI and Jenkinsons those three would prob be the easiest to get accounts with.

I'm always amused by this sort of post "Hi I want to set up a business and will take a few of your customers, can you help me to take your customers by telling me where you get your goods from".

FEI Westgate require fixed premises, Jenkinsons ask for trade references, so you need to be buying stock elsewhere already. As someone else said, other retailers are unlikely to give you this information, as you will then become competition for them.
