Has anyone had any experince of feeding this, as it claims it can help with behavioural problems and mareishness. Was wandering wether or not it actual makes a difference.

Have heard it is a natural calmer. Also very good for digestion.

For me it has made a huge difference with mild sweet itch. I recently reduced Chancer's amount and he started rubbing like mad - obviously still midges around. Upped it again and he has stopped.

He is very calm, but this may be due to his breeding - gypsy cob.

Where is the cheapest place to buy in bulk, I have never seen it sold

I have used it for about a year. It has completely calmed my rather nervous horse, and I swear by it, having tried some other 'calmers' over the years. I buy it from my normal feed merchant - Gold Label brand. It's not expensive, and a lot cheaper than other calmers.

I tried it for my horse who has alot of wind and I have to say it didn't make any difference to that or her nutty streak. Worth a try though because I know it does work for some people and its not very expensive

Chancer is a 15 hand gypsy cob and gets approx 1 heaped tablespoon twice a day when midges are bad. I reduce in during the winter to half the amount. At the moment I am still feeding summer levels. For him it really does work - when I ran out he started itching again within the week. I also give the same amount to our 16.3 clydesdale - again it helps with the itching.

I get mine from Simple Systems, but now have found a place in Suffolk which is hugely cheaper but unless you can get there in a week day is not convenient. I have a lovely friend who gets mine and gives it to me when we met at BSPA shows.
