Another reminder that our hobby is a risky one .

Very sad, it seems that it was a venue where she was well known and liked, and that she rode there regularly.

Near me too - shocking. They have lovely facilities, and a great cafe with food, and I have been there several times to compete and to eat.
Was even more shocked to realise it was a dressage day - had wrongly assumed it was jumping.
Sounds like the first responders and the air ambulance did everything possible, in the face of terrible odds.

Heart felt condolences to all, including the responders, and people there to witness such a shocking event.

So terribly sad, it just serves to remind us how dangerous a hobby it can be. Her poor family.
