Hi,

Can an adult do a warm up class on a pony for Trailblazers?

I was thinking of taking my pony to Hargate next Sun but I read another post that says adults are not allowed to ride ponies according to the rules (which admittedly I have not read).....does this apply to the warm up rounds as well as the 2nd rounds?

If us small adults who have ponies can't do trailblazers, what other options are there for us??? :D

I am fairly sure that if you are over a certain age you can't ride a pony, or it was certainly the case last year.

A little daft as in the showing world, adults often ride ponies in the ring, might be worth calling them and making sure this applies to the showing section and not just the other areas.

You can always go in the class and do it HC if you are wanting the experience.

Unless the rules have changed for 2010 (but i'm pretty sure they haven't)..
you can compete on a pony at any age for the first rounds (and still get placed etc) but you cannot compete in the 2nd rounds or at the finals :)

Thanks All - I emailed them to check and I'm def NOT allowed to do any classes on a pony, not even the warm up ones. Oh well!
