A friend mentioned going out to do trailblazers in a couple of weeks. How does it work?? Do you need to be registered or anything?

If we go we'll be at Duckhurst on the 4th Feb. Anyone else going?

If i am right then Trailblazers works like this:

You dont have to register for anything unless you want to jump in the 2nd rounds. To qualify for the 2nd rounds all you have to do is jump double clear in the 1st rounds. Then you register and pay £10.

If you qualify in the seconds rounds (think you have to come in the first 4 or something) then you get to go to the finals at Stonleigh.

Correct me if i am wrong someone but that is how i understand it works.

Hope that makes sense??

Lovely stuff

Hi Kelly, when I qualified last year, you had to be placed in the top 4 to qualify for the 2nd rounds, then pay your money (it was £10 last year, but I think it's now £12

). You then also had to finish in the top 4 to qualify for the finals

Don't know if they've changed it this year though....and i won't be bothering again as i think it's way too expensive for what it is

Really!!!!

When the little girl done it down our yard she only had to jump a double clear. Thinking about it though that could of been at the end of 05 so it might of changed for 06.

I normally go to Duckhurst but not going on the 4th but will look out for you next time!

You have to register but it doesnt cost anything. To qualify at the first round you need a double clear in any one height class. At the 2nd rounds you need to be in the top 4 to go the the finals. The heights are .75, .85, .95 and 1.05m.

But be warned .75 is very busy at duckhurst and .85 never starts before 1.00pm!!!!!

I'm going on the 4th Feb too!

Will be doing the .85 and .95 usually get there at 12noon ish.

I've never registered any of mine - thats optional....

I was hoping to do this but unfortunately have not made it to any shows yet since getting my boy, so it might have to wait til next year

Thanks for all the info. I'm aiming to do the .85 and .95 classes. Thanks Lifeofriley for the time warnings
