I'm a very pleased mummy! After JAS a couple of weeks ago, we seemed to have taken a step back with our jumping, and G was just not finding it fun
But anyway, thought we'd go to Vale View this afto for Sj, to build some confidence again.
We got there just after 2, as previous experience is when the 75cm gets under way, only to find thats been and gone, so no choice but to do 85cm. So warmed up, a bit hesitant, but jumping very cleanly, and happily, so fingers crossed for good round. Went into arena, G took big breath and popped round like a star. A little bit hesitant, but so pleased just went in and got on with the job
We had one stop, which was my fault completely and really missed so made it impossible for him to go, but otherwise flew round.
Entered the 95cm, just to get him really forward, and we certainly were onward bound! We came out with 3 down, but only because we were flying into them, so very pleased as getting over our hesitation. And gave a fab feeling over some of the "spookier" fences as really jumped. So overall, a very positive day as he has realised it IS fun again.
Got some gorgeous piccies, which will post link to when put online....
