Off to look at a trailer later. Ifor 505, paintwork is shoddy, advertised as aluminium floor but seller has text saying it's wooden and made a mistake in the ad.... Advertised at 1000ovno. Don't really want a wooden floor, but going to have a look anyway. Is there anything else we need to look specifically for?

Personally I would be very wary of a wooden floor! Ask for service history and check tyres, break mechanism too. A lady at the yard I am at bought a trailer recently and on her first trip out an awful banging noise was coming from the trailer, she thought it was her horse, but after pulling over to check, it turned out the break had sheared off. She got the trailer serviced and it needed all sorts doing to it.

Don't want to sound pessimistic but worth checking these things :D

Just to check the sides all around the bottom where it meets the floor. A good few years ago I bought a 4 yr old IW505. Appeared to be in great condition. It had a wooden floor, ali floors had just come out. She had washed it all out when I viewed, how nice I thought. Truth is it was rotten all along the edges of the floor and the bottom of the sides too :(. Washing it out, hid the wet patches :( It was my first trailer, I was naive, the viewing facilities werent great as in it was in a field and the weather was foul. I did check the floor but not good enough. We ended up part exing it with the main dealer as they wanted over £600 to put it right. They said that particular year had been recalled and 'mine' hadnt been back for the modifications.
