Trailer Advice

I am looking to get my first trailer...thought I would go for the obvious choice and get an Ifor 510. My horse is 16.1/2hh, very long and cant get in the 505! He travels well and we would only be doing short local journeys. Looking around I see there is more choice than I first thought- any suggestions? Is the Ifor the best bet? Floor MUST be of highest standard as I am paranoid about it but not wishing to spend a fortune so realistic suggestions only please... Would also a 3.5T lorry but not at £15k!!

You mentioned a 3.5 horsebox so does that mean you only have a B licence and not a B+E ?

I used to have a ifor Williams 505 but after buying a bigger horse I had to get a bigger trailer - I've now got a Wessex Olympian which I love and prefer to the Ifor Williams. I went to Ralph Baileys near Glastonbury and looked around loads of different makes. Highly recommend the Wessex, they are much better value for money (IMO). Good luck.
