Hi!
Just after some advice, I'm riding a horse for someone at the moment and they have said I'm welcome to borrow their trailer to take him places if I want too but they've said that we need to get out some trailer insurance so that its covered when we take it. Struggling to find a company that will insure a trailer that's not your own...anyone any experience with this kind of situation?
Thanks in advance!

If you can't afford to replace it in it's entirety then don't borrow it. Insurance or otherwise.

Thinsg will soon turn sour if the insurance finds a reason not to pay, or you don't write it off but damage it badly enough it's unuseable, the garage takes an age to repair or insurance takes an age to pay out and owner has to miss outings in the meantime.

I am assuming if you get your actual trailrr insurance sorted you wont be using the horse owners car but your own?

My sister and I share a trailer, but I tow with my own car. Had some difficulty getting trailer/horse recovery for one trailer and 2 cars but in the end SEIB were really helpful and basically made something up for us!
