Trailer/box floors

Hi all, just a reminder to you to check your trailer and horsebox floors as a friend of mine was traveling his horses a couple of weeks ago in a box that had been plated the week before when his horse went through the floor and had to be put down it was so traumatic for him let alone the poor horse, it must be one of the worst things that can happen, so please please please check your floors.

Sadly so many people seem to think that a lorry MOT covers the horse area. It doesn't.

the plating inspection only makes sure that the box is road safe & legal

it does not make sure that the horse will be travelling safely , which is such a shame when you here about stories like this

off to check my floor , have to admit not done so for a few weeks
