Trailer delearship Surrey/South East

I am looking to get either an Ifor Williams 510, 511 or Bateson Ascot trailer (second hand pref. but will consider new), but as a first time trailer buyer I would like a warranty and some after sales care.

Can anyone recommend a dealer in the southeast - Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire area, although we will travel if needs be. Also please PM me if you know of any places to avoid!

I am torn on the Equitrek Trail Treka having done some research and reading posts on here; however, if anyone knows of a good local dealer then I would consider going to have a look.

I have a large 16.2hh mare who travels well but is a very reluctant to load so need something light and airy. Also, I am very conscious of getting a good, sound trailer as I don't want to risk scaring her with something dodgy, so any help appreciated!

There was a dealership near Windsor that allow you to "borrow" their demo Equi Trek trailer for a couple of day so you can see whether the horses are happy travelling in one. If you want the details let me know and I will dig them out.

for equitrek, there is Equitogs (they have the dealership in there car park) and for ifors there is universal trailers in sussex.

Will bear John Page in mind, alothough currently he doesn't have much second hand stock.

Don't know where you are in Surrey but Peter at RoverTow in Warlingham is a really helpful genuine guy. Think he only sells IW's and only a small yard but worth a shout. 01883 625444.
