I have an ifor Williams 401 with a wooden floor. I've previously had it replaced with another wooden floor but this time at it's service the dealership have suggested replacing with a metal floor.

Being a dealership they weren't very forthcoming with giving me a quote for this!! They just said trailer floor plus £20 an hour labour to take the old one out and put the new one in.

Has anyone had this done? Can you give me an idea of what you paid? Also I'm confused about the rubber for the floor. Does the new floor come with rubber attached? Or do they relay the stuff I currently have down? Or do I order new?

Thanks in advance :-)

I've just had the wooden floor in my trailer replaced with a plastic panelled one by PHHT. It cost £675+vat and they took up my relatively new rubber mats and relaid them on the new floor. They also added some more metal supports underneath inc in this price.

My OH charges about £1100 incl. VAT and labour to change an ifor wooden floor to an aluminium floor, floor is a genuine ifor Williams one, so not cheap to buy but you get what you pay for.

I'm not sure how many hours it actually takes him.
