I was just posting on the threead about cleaning lorries, and it got me thinking.

Each time Star is loaded to come home - she pees in the trailer. Honestly, there are gallons flooding out underneath the front and back ramps.

She won't pee on foreign soil, or maybe she's shy!

Anyway, the trailer gets washed out each time, but will the 'moisture content' damage the trailer floor under the matting (it's a metal floor)?

If it's aluminium I don't think it will but it may be advisable to fold mats over into middle of trailer to aid air flow through the trailer and reduce damp

If this happens on a regular basis then I think you'll need to lift your mats regularly & thoroughly was out the trailer. The constant peeing cannot do the floor any good at all & will contribute greatly to early corrosion. Additionally your trailer will smell awful iif you don't wash it out well. Remove the mats after washing & allow the floor to dry out thoroughly it will prevent later problems
