Hello,

I'm looking for a trailer that will carry three 15 to 16 hand thoroughbreds.

I was looking at an Ifor Williams 510XL or 610, but the specifications say they can only fit two horses over 15 hands.

I also looked at Fautras Oblic +3 and Victorious 3. I can't find any information on the website to indicate what size horse these can cater for. Anybody have any idea?

Or equally, another suggestion for a trailer that meets my requirements.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies.

I think you're probably talking about the IWT 510XL or 610

@greasedweasel ->
That's useful info, an IWT would be my preferred option, and I'm most interested in the 510XL because of lower unladen weight when compared to the 610. I have a towing vehicle which will manage either, but figured I might as well go for the lighter option.

The info I've found online seemed to suggest that the 510xl and 610 could only manage 2 15hh+ ponies. But if your experience is different, then I'll do some further investigation. Thanks.

Hi Rog,

Thanks for the response. Do you also disagree with greasedweasel's comment regarding the 610? The website you posted specifies the 610 will also only fit 2 horses over 15hh.

By the way, sorry for not posting this in the towing clinic, I wasn't aware of its existence.

Cheerio
Trailer towing clinic tends to deal with trailer weights and licence issues
You asked this question in the right place IMO

I looked into the Ifors and it seems they do not have one which will fit 3 x 16hh approx horses
