Trailer help please..

One of my trailer wheels is stuck - won't turn when moving. It has been stood for a few months and something seems to have seized. Anyone have any ideas how to unjam it? Someone suggested hitting the back of the wheel with hammer but where?!

Our 510 used to do this sometimes, hit it somewhere on the steel rim of the wheel

Hit on the centre of the wheel, also rock back and forward but ensure it is checked by an expert to make sure the brakes are in working order once released.

Yep, hit it very hard with a hammer.

Apparently, the cold winter has caused the problem, combined with the new type of brake pads that were brought in due to asbestos content in the old ones.

Try pushing it backwards rather than forwards. That works on my 510. Also when you park it make sure you briefly go forwards if you've reversed it into its parking space.
