Fire/Theft/Accidental & Malicious Damage Insurance on a IW HB505 worth £2k - kept outside on yard..
Have been quoted £120 from SEIB - waiting for NFU to come back with a price.

Breakdown cover including emergency stabling etc..
Have been quoted £78.75 from SEIB. I would pay £49.00 with these as I am a member of the AA - anyone with them?

How do these quotes sound so far?

Also, what security do you use on your trailer? Insurance company mentioned the wheel or the hitch locks - which one would you recommend?

Another question.... what would/do you pay to store a trailer, outside, on a secure yard?

Thanks

I have mine insured with NFU think it is about £120, they also do a reasonable breakdown cover which I keep meaning to get but never get round to. Was with the horsebox rescue people for about 2 years never had to use them but have heard a few negative reports since.
I use a wheel clamp on my trailer, it is outside (unfortunately) but on a secure yard.

My parents have there van insured with NFU (which i use for towing) and i added the trailer onto this, and as they already have brake down cover with NFU the trailer is cover, it worked out much cheaper to do a package like this with NFU.

£2K 510 is £105 & £2.5k 505 is £120 with KBIS

Equestrian Support do breakdown cover for £45 - need to be member of RAC first
