As the title please....

About to buy a IW510 and would like it insured and not sure who's best - I have horses covered with NFU as was my horsebox but thinking of moving for the trailer

I use 4Counties, they are £126.43 per year for my Bateson, insured for £3500. I also went with them as they do monthly payments (£25.29 deposit and £12.92 in 9 instalments), which helps when you don't have £130 floating around! :)

My Wessex horsebox insured to the value of £3500 cost £90 to insure for the year, paid in one instalment. Was slightly more if you wanted to pay monthly. I haven't ever had to claim *touches wood!* so can't comment on that front.

MyPoniesRock- who is the policy with? I just need a basic policy as the horses and vehicle are all comprehensively cover within their policies.

Thank you

My Jeep is insured with NFU and I just added the trailer onto the policy, it didn't cost any extra. i also have road rescue for the car, trailer and horse and paid extra to add the trailer rescue and orse rescue to it, but can't remember how much, it wasn't alot.

So speak to your tow car insurer and find out about adding the trailer to the policy.
