Anyone have any recommendations? Just called the people I have my horse insured with and they want £175 for a year with a £350 excess - thought that was a bit steep
Sorry J, think you will find that is about the going rate. costs even more to take a separate policy. make sure you read the small print about security measure as they often specify specific types of wheel locks etc.
Ours cam in just under £100, for an IFW 510, this was linked to my Landrover policy as it was cheaper than adding it to the horse insurance - we are with NFU for the lot.
I only pay £39 a year for my trailer, its linked in with my horse insurance which is with nfu. It is an older trailer, about 10 - 15 years old with front and back ramp
Our 505 is insured on our vehicle policy (well all our trailers are) think it puts about £30 on it. Mind you, it is technically only insured while attatched to vehicle but we do hitch up every night
