Trailer insurance?

Can anyone please recommend a good company to go with?

Have tried the NFU but they will only insure it if the vehicle that tows it is insured through them - It isn't and we don't want to change just yet as the current insurance runs until May.

any suggestions please

They do a special deal if you are a member of the AA

Our trailer was with Shearwater but it got stolen in May and now Shearwater are making if very difficult to claim.
They are stating that we didnt own the trailer even though we were paying for insurance for it for 9 years and they never asked for proof of purchase at the time of us taking the policy out. We have since raided photos and documents to try and prove we did own the trailer, which have gone to the underwriters and now we are waiting a response. One way or another we are going to get money from them.

Hi J.My trailer is with NFU but my car isent!!.Horses, trailer and now Flossy dog are with them i wonder if that makes a differance??.

NFU will not insure a trailer on its own, it has to be with a car or horse policy.
