Who are the best people to get trailer insurance with?

What does the insurance cover you for?? if your car breaksdown what happens to the trailer and horses, does it cover that??
Not sure what insurance, either car or trailer covers such things?

NFU cover is good, but you need to have other policies with them.

I already have RAC recovery, so I added the trailer to that for £45 and they send a specialist company if the horses need to be transported. My trailer is covered by SEIS and is comprehensively covered both when in use or when stored. There are security conditions, like wheel clamps etc, that have to be complied with, but I would think that's the same with any company.

I use KBIS and it is fully insured against everything!! It cost just £17.37 pcm. Im covered fully comp on normal car to cover car damage etc.. and AA will cover my breakdown etc...
KBIS also stipulate that it has to be stored with wheel clamp and hitch lock etc...but that is just common sence.
