Trailer lights not working

hi guys

I have an intermittent problem with the driver side rear lights on my ifor williams 510 trailer. the passanger side lights are fine. The 8 pin connector between my truck and trailer seems ok bit for some reason the indicator at driver side on trailer is playing up.

Does anyone know where to start?

Check the fuse box in your tow vehicle, could be a faulty fuse. Other than that there must be a false connection somewhere, could still be the 8 pin plug?

Have you tried dusting out and spraying both plugs with WD40?

I sometimes have this when the connections are dirty - try using a soft clean paint brush on the pins and make sure they are pushed in as fay as they go. If one side is dodgy it can often be the contact.

Yep go for this

Mine occasionally has the same problem. Its the tension on the curly wire from the trailer to the car.

If its too tight it pulls one side of the plus out slightly, which is why the fault was intermitant.

I pull the wire out and make sure there is a bit a play in it when plugging it in.

Might be worth checking on yours
