i have one of these for my richardson trailer

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SAMURAI-WHEEL-CLAM...A1%7C240%3A1318

and also have this clamp from argos

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0382773/Trail/searchtext>CLAMP.htm

for insurance purposes i only need one wheel clamp but my theory was that there was one spare wheel so if two wheels were clamped then they couldnt just take the clamped wheel off and use the spare

i also have a ball that fits into my locking hitch so nothing can hitch up to it.

a little OTT but hey if it makes them move onto the next trailer instead of nicking mine its all good

Just bought clamp and hitch ball for my new trailer from smile equestrian. Their web address is www.smileequestrian.co.uk. They've got some really good products at very reasonable prices. The security hitch ball is a very simple but effective product for preventing your hitch being used. Other trailer owners on my yard have now bought this since having a look at mine.
