Trailer locked onto my car - lost key for lock!

I took my horse out in the trailer which has an integral lock with one of those round keys that you have to unlock to hitch up and un-hitch.

I must have left the key in the lock when I hitched up and driven off with it still in the lock and it has fallen out on route (it could be anywhere!) so no I can't take the trailer off my car!!

I need to go shopping today - I will have to take the tralier to Tesco's with me and everywhere I else I need to drive until I can get a new key or find someone to drill out the lock

any ideas?

Oh dear i cant really help, maybe try a locksmith who deals with cars or locker keys?

Oh blimey. Im having visions of you trying to park at Tescos

hope you get sorted. Are you sure you havent got a spare key tucked aways somewhere ? I have a set and my oh has a set for mine. Good luck.

Stupid me had the spare on the same ring - so both keys were on the same ring - why I don't know

I really didn't think about it before.

Well I'm off to Tesco's, I will have to drive around until I find two spaces together!!

i once got my ifor locked on my car and i took it up to the dealers where i bought it and they literally hammered the lock off for me and then fitted a new one so maybe give a local trailer centre a call!
