Trailer/Lorry

Hellloo,
Im looking to get my own transport
Used to have a trailer that my mam would pull but the cost of the jeep got far to much as drove to work etc. etc.
sold the jeep and the trailer.

Now looking again and my mam is thinking a lorry would work out better, but talking to people it costs alot to keep them roadworthy unless there pritty new.

Whats peoples adivce on this?

Looking for something that i can take my 15hh and 15.2 away not at the same time and maybe take a friend but more for myself
Planning on going away most weeks.

totaly clueless when it comes to boxes and stuff so any help would be great!
Whats running costs for both? how much are we looking too pay for decent box etc. insurance?

That's a good question. Sounds just like us - We have an ancient Jeep which drinks petrol for fun plus a trailer. We use the Jeep for general driving too which is expensive. If we sold Jeep + trailer and bought a small car instead we would only be able to buy a very old horse box which, I suspect, would end up costing heaps to keep serviced. Think we've finally decided the answer is to buy a newer more economical type 4 x 4 instead - the Kia Sorrento looks good.

What about a 3.5 tonne wagon.Normal car tax,no plating and cheaper to insure than a 7.5 tonne.
