Trailer Number Plate Size....ROG?

My long (car) plate is currently cable tied onto my new trailer until I get the nice square one for it's allocated space on the ifor

Is 9 x 7 as per motorcycle size adequate?
 
Why dont you just go into somewhere like Halfords & ask them to make you one for your trailer, you have to take your car documents with you as well when you have one done, so dont forget them :)
Pretty sure they are the same size as motorcycle ones :)
