Trailer outing for the first time...

Bought an Ifor HB401 a few weeks ago and would like to take neddy for his firts outing next week (OH will be driving as he is experienced with towing trailers).

I've never had a trailer before so please excuse me for being a bit thick, but what trailer ties are the best type to use, and do you think it's best to double tie (i.e. to both rings) or just tie to one?

Sorry for being a tad naive... we all have to start somewhere I guess!!

Until 4 months ago, I'd never been in a trailer / travelled a horse so I asked much worse questions than this!

I have the trailer ties with a quick release clip. I cross tie on both rings, but use an Ifor 505 with partitions taken out, so maybe slightly different? I probably still would on a single trailer tho. Have fun!

thanks, it's a bit scary so I want to make sure I'm prepped!!

I have a camera in mine, a revesing camera with a monitor in the car. I find it very reassuring as I can look and see he is happy in the trailer. I also cross tie.

I didn't know you could get these for trailers, but what a good idea! Where did u get yours from?
